Abstract:

The fen is less than 30 acres surrounding the lake. There are shruby patches of Cornus, Toxicodendron vernix, birch, and aspen, and large patches of Typha and Phragmites. There are many streams 1m wide, one larger one on the north side of the stream. Evidence of maintenence with burn piles and woody cuttings. State owned.
