BLOSSOM HEADS (CYMES) 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" high with 20-25 narrow bracts and no ray flowers; DISC FLOWERS 20-25, yellow; achenes 5-angled, pappus white: July and August. DISTRIBUTION: foothill belt and desert edge - 1000 to 2000 alt.
