This lone, atypical, strongly glaucous Vaccinium specimen was found in degraded sandhill near the northern fenceline with the farm and may be an escaped cultivated Vaccinium from the farm. It does not seem to fit any of the species concepts for native species of Vaccinium section Cyanococcus: V. caesariense, V. darrowii, V. elliottii, V. formosum, V. fuscatum, V. myrsinites, V. tenellum, V. virgatum.
