Trinity, Whisky Bill Peak 7.5' USGS quad. E of Halls Gulch, ca. 1.8 air miles SE of Red Mtn. 100ft above road along bottom of swale. Growing in a 30" Abies concolor in a fissure in the bark towards the base of the tree on the W side. Filtered sunlight in a typically dry to mesic swale. Snow was present at time of visit. Hand like leaf parts that overlap. Two tone color. Moss field trip with USFS Shasta-Trinity botanists Susan Erwin and Shauna Hee., 1454m

Google Map
