Shasta, Miller Mountain 7.5' USGS quad. Just east of the gas pipeline opening, about 0.37 air miles south of Old Cow Creek and 1 air mile ENE of Miller Mountain. Within a moist opening in saturated mossy soil, surrounded by mixed conifer forest (Calocedrus decurrens, Pinus contorta, and Abies concolor). Growing with Fragaria sp, Erythranthe primuloides, Perideridia sp, Veratrum californicum, Carex sp, Achillea millefolium, Luzula sp, Viola glabella, Sceptridium multifidum, and Sisyrinchium sp. Found along the margin of the open meadow and the forest edge. No individuals were found under full open sun though some do receive some sunlight. Small and large individuals were present and intermixed, as represented by this collection. Plants were 1"-5" tall., 1494m
