Vascular plants of NE US and adjacent Canada
Creeping, 5-20 cm, with many ascending branches; lvs numerous, elliptic, 3-5 mm, entire, obtuse, obscurely 3-nerved; pedicels solitary at many nodes, 1 mm, becoming 2-3 mm and recurved in fr; cor 2 mm, falling without opening; fr 1.5 mm, surpassed by the cal. Muddy shores of major rivers, between high and low tides, beyond the direct influence of salt water; Hudson R. to s. Va.; not recently collected. (Micranthemum m.)
