Infrequent on the moist, clay or gravelly slopes of the high banks of our larger streams and lakes and rare in prairie habitats. [Deam recognized variety longilobus.] This variety has calyx lobes 2.5-5.5 mm long, tube 4-5 mm long. I have it from Elkhart, Gibson, Kosciusko, and Warrick Counties. All Indiana forms are on one map.
