Much like no. 48 [Aster radula Aiton], but with larger, more coarsely toothed lvs, those mostly (7-)9-14 נ(3-)4-6 cm, on a winged petiole 1-3 cm, or the upper tapering to a narrow sessile base; rays 10-30, white or pale blue; achenes pubescent; 2n=54. Along the banks of rivers from Pulaski and Laurel cos., Ky. to Scott Co., Tenn.
