Much like no. 5 [Veronica arvensis L.], but some of the lvs pinnatifid; fr glandular-hairy, slightly broader than long; style ca 0.5-0.6 mm, barely or scarcely reaching the top of the fr; 2n=16. Native of Europe, now established in campgrounds, along roadsides, and in other ±open, usually disturbed sites in parts of our range, as in Mich. and s. Ont. Apr.-June.
