Family: Asteraceae Canyon-Sunflower	FNA Resources John L. Strother in Flora of North America (vol. 21) Leaf blades mostly 3-12+ × 2-10+ cm. Ray laminae 15-30 mm. Disc corollas 5-6 mm. Cypselae 2-3 mm. 2n = 38. Flowering spring. Usually in shade in canyons and along streams; 0-1000 m; Calif.; Mexico (Baja California).
