Vascular plants of NE US and adjacent Canada
Stems prostrate and creeping, or partly floating; lvs 1-3 cm, spatulate or oblanceolate, tapering to the base but scarcely petiolate; pedicels 5-15 mm; sep 4-6 mm; pet yellow, equaling or shorter than the sep; fr clavate, to 10 mm. Shallow water and wet shores at widely scattered stations along the coastal plain from N.J. to S.C.
