Lvs mostly 1.5-3 נ0.8-1.5 cm, serrulate; cor narrowly urceolate, some shade of pink; otherwise much like no. 14[Vaccinium corymbosum L.]; 2n=24. Open flatwoods and ravines, and dry uplands along river-valleys, only seldom in swampy places; se. Va. to Fla. and La. on the coastal plain and piedmont. Fl early, usually before the lvs.
