Vascular plants of NE US and adjacent Canada
Much like no. 6 [Lycopus rubellus Moench]; lvs oblong to lance-oblong, 3-10 נ1-3.5 cm, with 4-6 salient teeth on each side, convexly narrowed from the lowest tooth to the sessile, obtuse or rounded base. Coastal plain; e. Mass. to Fla.; also in the mts. of N.C. and at the s. end of Lake Michigan.

This species is local. It has been found in Jasper County in marshes about two and a half miles southeast of Tefft, and in Starke County in a marsh near Bass Lake and in a roadside ditch south of San Pierre.
