Leaf blade subterete, straight, equaling or shorter than scape, 1 mm wide or less. Scape 15-30 cm. Umbel loose, 10-30-flowered; spathe bracts 3, apex obtuse or acute. Flowers 4-6 mm; tepals white to pale pink with deep pink or purple midribs; pedicel 4-15 mm. 2n = 14.

Flowering Apr--Jun. Rocky clay, including serpentine soils; 300--600 m; Calif.

Allium lacunosum var. micranthum is known only from the inner south Coast and Transverse ranges.
