Plants 25-50+ cm. Leaf blades lanceolate or oblanceolate to linear, margins entire or toothed, faces glabrous or ± stipitate-gland-ular (distal). Ray florets 6-13; corollas orange to red-orange, laminae 6-20+ mm. Disc florets 45-80+; corollas orange to red-orange, 8-11.5 mm. 2n = 34.

Flowering Jul-Oct. Meadows, stream banks, seeps; of conservation concern; 1200-2300 m; Calif.

Raillardella pringlei occurs on serpentine-derived soils in the Klamath Ranges.
