Stems erect, branched, to 1 m or more, sparsely pustulate-hairy above; lvs odd-pinnate, the lfls very numerous, oblong, 1-2 cm; racemes often leafy; fls 1-6, yellow with red veins, 10-15 mm, subtended by ovate, sessile, serrate bracts; fr 2-7 cm, on a stipe 1.5-2 cm; joints 4-10, each 5-8 נ5-6 mm, sparsely pustulate-hairy; 2n=40.
