Bulb progressively renewed over 3-4 years; lvs elongate, 8-15 mm wide, with a white stripe on the upper surface; scape 2-5 dm; raceme elongate, 3-12-fld; bracts surpassing the 5-10 mm pedicels; fls at first erect or ascending, soon nodding; perianth broadly campanulate, the tep oblong, 1.5-3 cm, white above, with a broad green midstripe beneath; ovary shorter than the style; 2n=45. Native of w. Asia, occasionally escaped from cult. in our range.
