Stems 3-8 dm from a slender rhizome; basal lvs slender-petioled, broadly cordate, repand, 5-8 cm; cauline lvs short-petioled, pinnately divided into 3-7 segments, the terminal lobe broadly ovate or deltoid, much larger than the lateral ones; infl small with short, approximate branches, becoming diffusely pyramidal in age; cor-tube slender, 12-16 mm, its lobes 2-3 mm; fr lance-oblong, 5 mm, sparsely villous at least when young.
