Much like no. 5 [Verbascum thapsus L.], but with larger fls (cor 2.5-4.5 cm wide) and spatulate stigma; often more branching, with several longer, less dense infls; lvs often dentate and more acuminate. Native of Europe, locally intr. and abundant in se. Wis. (V. thapsiforme)
