Very much branched, the very slender lateral branches with a few small lvs and rarely more than a single apparently terminal fl; fls also very few on the central axis, but a terminal raceme scarcely developed; herbage persistently yellow-green; pedicels at anthesis 5-25 mm; cal-tube 2.5-3.5 mm, reticulate-veiny, the lobes broadly triangular, 0.6-0.8 mm; cor 1.2-1.8 cm, pink; pollen-sacs 1.3-2 mm; fr subglobose, 4-5 mm; seeds yellow-brown; 2n=26.
