Much like no. 11 [Scutellaria leonardii Epling ]; stems with spreading glandular hairs, and often also minutely hairy on the angles; principal lvs sessile, ovate to rotund, 10-15 mm, half to three- fourths as wide, pubescent over the whole surface; lateral veins 3-5 on each side of the midvein; cal glandular-hairy.
