Vascular plants of NE US and adjacent Canada
Diminutive annual 3-10 cm, dichotomously or dichasially branched; lvs opposite, ovate to oblong, 2-3 mm; sep 1 mm, 3-cleft ca 1/4 or 1/3 length across the broad summit, the lobes narrow, pointed; pet white, 1 mm; fr globose, 1 mm, soon splitting into 4 valves each partly divided by an incomplete false septum; 2n=18. Native of Eurasia and n. Afr., established in N.S. July, Aug. (Millegrana radiola)
