Perennial, 1-3 dm, with dense basal rosettes; basal lvs stiff, sessile, obovate-oblong to narrowly oblong-spatulate, 1-3 cm, ciliate at base, sharply but finely serrate, each tooth with a minute, lime-encrusted pore; cymes several-fld, often elongate; pet white, 3-4 mm; 2n=28.
