Leaf blades 20-75(-90) × 12-15(-20) mm, ultimate margins distally dentate or entire. Ray laminae 20-30 mm. Cypselae 3-4 mm. 2n = 18.

Flowering Oct-Nov. Disturbed sites; 0-10+ m; introduced; N.J., N.Y.; Asia (Japan).
