Arctostaphylos viscida subsp. mariposa (Dudley) P.V.Wells
Family: Ericaceae [Arctostaphylos mariposa var. bivisa Jeps.]	FNA Resources V. Thomas Parker, Michael C. Vasey, Jon E. Keeley in Flora of North America (vol. 8) Twigs densely glandular-hairy. Leaf blades: margins ciliate, surfaces papillate, scabrous, sparsely finely short glandular-hairy. Ovaries rough, glandular-hairy, viscid. Fruits rough, glandular-hairy, viscid. Flowering winter-early spring. Chaparral, open forests; 200-1200 m; Calif. Subspecies mariposa occurs in the central Sierra Nevada, mostly in Mariposa County.
