Scape 10-25 cm × 1-2 mm. Umbel 12-60-flowered. Flowers: tepals white to pink or pale lavender with darker midvein, apex not spreading or recurved at tip; ovarian crest process margins laciniate, usually with ad-ditional protuberances on ovary surface at crest bases. 2n = 14.

Flowering Apr--May. Sandy or rocky soils on open slopes and flats; 800--1400 m; Calif.

Populations of Allium fimbriatum var. mohavense from the north base of the San Bernardino Mountains intergrade with the typical variety and are placed here provisionally.
