Cor deeply parted, its lobes erect at anthesis; corona of 5 erect, petaloid segments about equaling the cor-lobes, each divided to about the middle into 2 slender lobes; anthers with a prominent, membranous appendage; pollinia solitary in each pollen-sac, pendulous, apically attached to the translator; twining perennial herbaceous vines with white fls in pedunculate, extra-axillary infls solitary at the nodes.
