Blades dark green. Bristles reddish. Spikelets 2-2.5 mm.
2n = 18, 36, 54, 72.
Setaria pumila subsp. pallidefusca is native to tropical Africa.
It is now established as a weed in southeastern Louisiana, but it has also been
collected in the past on ballast dumps in Portland, Oregon.
