Plants trailing, 30-70 cm. Leaves: petioles 25-45(-80) cm, lobes of mid and distal leaves linear to long-spatulate, to 6 × 0.5(-1) cm. 2n = 34.

Flowering spring-fall. Crevices and ledges, igneous canyon walls; of conservation concern; 900-2000 m; Ariz.

Variety salensis is known only from Salt River Canyon.
