Plants growing singly or in loose, scattered clumps. Leaves 3-9, erect, (2-)3-6.7 dm × 0.8-3.2 cm; blade liguliform, not glaucous, or slightly glaucous to deep shiny green. Tepals no longer than 13 cm.

Flowering late spring. Cypress drainages and stringers associated with wet pine flatwoods; of conservation concern; 0 m; Fla.

Hymenocallis henryae var. henryae is only found in Bay, Gulf, and Walton counties.
