Plant: perennial herb; Glabrous, from elongate, tuberous roots; stems trailing Leaves: sagittate to palmately 5-7-lobed, sparsely strigose, the lobes divergent, lanceolate, linear to oblong, 1-5 cm long, 2-6.5 cm wide, the base sagittate, the petioles 0.9-2 cm long INFLORESCENCE: 1-flowered; peduncles 3-4 mm long; bracts scale-like, ca. 1 mm long Flowers: pedicels 7-8 mm long, erect in fruit; sepals equal, lanceolate, 12-15 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, acuminate apically, smooth, setaceous-caudate, sometimes obscurely warty at the base; corollas funnelform-salverform, 5-8 cm long, white with a rose limb and green tube (drying purple), opening in the evening, glabrous, the limb 5-6.5 cm wide; stamens 55-59 mm long, exserted, the anthers 3.5-4 mm long; ovary ovoid, 1-1.5 mm long, 3-locular, glabrous; styles 55-59 mm long Fruit: FRUITS globose to ovoid, 6-7 mm wide, the apiculum 4-5 mm long.
