Family: Asteraceae [Senecio admirabilis Greene]	FNA Resources Theodore M. Barkley+ in Flora of North America (vol. 20) Heads (12-)30-50. Phyllaries ± 13, 7-9 mm. Ray florets ± 8; corolla laminae 7-10 mm. Disc florets 20-40+. Flowering summer. Stream banks, wet sites, open coniferous woodlands; of conservation concern; 2500-3200 m; Colo., Utah, Wyo. Variety admirabilis occurs on the southern Rocky Mountains of Wyoming and Colorado and in the La Sal Mountains of Utah.
