Much like no. 6 [Monarda russeliana Nutt.], but more slender and with longer internodes, the lvs lanceolate, inconspicuously serrate, glabrous or minutely pilosulous on the veins beneath; cal-lobes conspicuously stipitate-glandular, the upper cor-lip ca half as long as the tube.
