United States, Arkansas, Scott, T1N, R29W, S26; from U.S. Hwy 270, about 1.5 miles south on USFS Road 54 at known Carex pensylvanica site vicinity (that species not seen)... section number is slight question. Access gained by walking in old logging road until it went east and following until it crossed a medium sized stream. Plants were abundant in general vicinity of floodplain, but not seen along logging road; scrub oak forest, sandy loam soil on cobbles, rocks, stones, and boulders; floodplain only here; duplicates made by collecting from several clones; slightly immature.
