United States, Florida, Indian River, a little west of US 1 on north side of eastbound Sebastian Blvd (CR 512) just east of junction with High St. Highly degraded remnant scrub; bare white sand with dense shrubs and sparse herbs, with Quercus geminata, Schinus terebinthifolius, Sabal palmetto, Carya floridana, Ximenia americana, Quercus myrtifolia, Vitis rotundifolia, Opuntia humifusa, Panicum maximum, Bidens alba, Catharanthus roseus, Tecomaria capensis, Cassytha filiformis, Abrus precatorius, Merremia dissecta. Shrubby trees, tallest ca 10 m tall; most with old cones, only a few with male strobili; dozens here, including many seedlings. 27°48'31.2"N 80°28'5.8W.
