At the intersection, turn left (southwest) and continue for approximately 0.3 mi along the Forces of Nature Trail. Just west and uphill of the trail there is a west-trending gully/small canyon with Pseudotsuga menziesii and Abies concolor overstory. Leave the trail and head west into the gully/uphill for about 180 m (600 ft). The large vertical crack with the Asplenium adiantum-nigrum occurs just east of this gully amidst several large boulders and above a large cave with copious spray paint markings., 35.23117 -111.58833, 2185m
